Things to Know

We use the data you upload to improve the tool and provide more useful insights. By analyzing trends and averages for conversion rates, we can give you better suggestions based on real data. This helps us make the tool more accurate and valuable for everyone.

Yes! All data used for research is anonymous. Your email address and product titles are “hashed,” which means they are turned into a special code that we can’t turn back into your original information. This ensures your privacy while allowing us to study patterns and trends.

Hashing is like putting your information into a special blender that always creates the same unique code for the same object, no matter how many times you blend it. If we blend the same piece of information again, we get the same unique code, but if we blend something different, we get a completely different code.

Once the information is blended into a code, it’s impossible to “unblend” or reverse-engineer it to find out what the original information was. This keeps your data safe and anonymous while still allowing us to match and update the same data over time.

The SEOTpreneur Data Warehouse stores your data as long as you have an active subscription. When your subscription ends, your data will be deleted from the Data Warehouse. However, any data that has been anonymized and aggregated into the Research Database will remain for ongoing research purposes.

The SEOTpreneur Data Warehouse is powered by Google Cloud and uses 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to keep your information safe. This is the same level of security used by banks. When you upload a file, it is linked to your email address, and you must be logged into your Google account with this email address to access your information in Looker Studio.

Data you upload is associated with your email address. Google Looker Studio allows you to view your product stats data based on the email address you sign in with. The name of your product is also included in the product stats file, which could potentially be used to find your store on TPT if the title is current.

In the research database, your email address and product titles are hashed to provide anonymity. This means we can’t trace back to your email address. However, having a unique identifier allows us to update your data. When you upload a new version of your product stats CSV file, we can remove the old information and replace it with the latest data.

We check the TPT website and look up your product title. If we find an exact match, we can record the product ID, price, grade, categories, and other product stats.

If you do not agree to your data being used for research, please do not upload your CSV file. If you have already uploaded data and want it deleted, please email Mike at [email protected].

The SEOTpreneur Data Warehouse is a paid service available to members. When your membership ends, your data will be deleted from the Data Warehouse (not the Research Database.) If you have any questions, please email Mike at [email protected].

We offer a 14-day refund policy. If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of your payment, email us at [email protected] for a refund. After canceling, you’ll still have access to the system until the end of your current payment period.

What are upload credits?

Credits are used to upload products via CSV files to the SEOTpreneur Data Warehouse. Each product in your CSV uses 1 credit. So if you have 100 products in your TPT store, you will need 100 credits to upload a product stats CSV file.

You currently receive 10,000 free credits per month.

Free credits expire at the end of the month billing cycle and reset to 10,000 at the start of the next billing period. In other words, unused free credits do not roll over into the next month.

Paid credits do not expire.

You won’t be able to upload more products until you purchase additional credits or wait for your next billing period when your free credits reset.

Credits ensure fair system usage, keeping the platform affordable and fast for everyone by preventing overloading from high-volume users. Large sellers can purchase more credits as needed

When you participate in a 4-week Bucket Repair Bootcamp, you will be given a special CSV upload token each week to ensure you can participate.

  • The CSV upload token will allow you to upload one product stats CSV file (regardless of the size of the file or the number of upload credits it would require.)
  • The CSV upload token will be given out on Sunday before the Zoom meeting (so you can upload your product stats CSV file for that meeting.)

You must do your weekly homework in order to get the upload token for the next week.

  • Fix at least one product
  • Upload a post that includes TWO screenshots (before and after images)
  • Reply to THREE other TPT sellers with feedback about what they did.
